Mary Kate has a genuinely feminine nature, and she loved flowers, but above all, pink flowers! It was June, and there were so many available at that time of year, especially in shades of pink. Mary Kate carried a softly tailored bouquet of peonies, ranunculus, garden roses, and sweet peas in shades of white, ivory, and blush. Her bridesmaids carried whimsical bouquets of all sweet peas. We love this classic look! We combined various soft pink flowers with pale blue and coral to bring in that nod to coastal New England for the reception. We used coral peonies, pale blue delphinium, pink sweet peas, and ranunculus, even accents of lavender clematis. The tent was filled with flowers full of whimsy and color!
Confectionery designs use the bride’s lace from her dress as inspiration.
