Indulge in the Old World Luxury of This Lake Como Wedding at Villa Regina Teodolinda

The inspiration comes from the appreciation for Lake Como landscape in Autumn. Soft colors, ivory, antique pink, emphasis on sensual, melancholic beauty driven by an intense nostalgia is so inspiring! It’s a timeless elegance I wanted to translate into a wedding aesthetic.

The flower arrangements by Chiara Briccola add a softness, with tulips as backdrop for ceremony at the enchanting garden of the villa. To keep it subtle and clean.
For dinner, the candles create the intimate mood with their soft light. We added ribbons on the gold candelabra.
Th color wedding for the tables was champagne, shades of gold, and ivory. Additionally, this theme exudes a sense of luxury, creating a memorable and visually stunning atmosphere.

On July 27, 2023, Greg proposed to Lena at Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. The natural beauty of Banff’s turquoise blue waters, glistening lakes, and mountains made it an even more majestic proposal. Greg and Lena wandered off into the woods with no humans in sight—except for those in canoes from a long distance away. Lena was doing the usual, at the edge of the lake, mesmerized and admiring the scenery, and capturing it through photography. Greg called Lena from above, “Lena, come here!” She ran atop the squishy moss, into the woods, and Greg hugged her tight. She felt a sense of security and comfort. Greg looked into her eyes, confessed his love for her, gave the sweetest, most sincere, heartfelt speech, got down on one knee, and asked Lena to be his forever. Greg and Lena met on the lakes of Michigan, got engaged on a lake in Banff, Alberta, and are now married on Lake Como, Italy. It’s no wonder that their relationship brings tranquility, peace, and comfort, as the lake signifies their love.
