Celebrating Love With Luxe Decor and Chinese Traditions at Villa Balbiano

A dreamlike fairytale wedding set against a picturesque backdrop, featuring unforgettable fireworks reflecting off the beautiful Lake Como under a starlit sky.

On a cold winter night in Tromsø, we searched for the northern lights but found nothing after hours. After driving 100 miles to Finland, we finally witnessed nature’s grandest spectacle. Under that magical sky, the question was asked. It was a night of breathtaking beauty and love.

I envisioned a grand yet delicate wedding dress with a touch of gold to complement the historic charm of Villa Balbiano. The moment I saw the dress by Nicole and Felicia, it was love at first sight.

I love the diverse symmetry of styles for the bridesmaid dresses, allowing each bridesmaid to choose a design that best complements her.

The Italian buffet by Sunlake Catering began with Parma ham, cold cuts, and fresh cheese. For the main course, we served Beef Fillet and Sea Bass, and we wrapped up the evening with a freshly baked pizza for a late-night treat!

Timeless elegance by Rattiflora, with an arch showcasing an ombre blend of soft pink and purple orchids and roses, creating a romantic atmosphere with minimal greenery.

The luxurious six-tier cake, adorned with flowers that beautifully complemented our arch, was cut under a magnificent fireworks display!

On our wedding day, amidst a whirlwind of emotions, my groom bestowed upon me an unforgettable surprise: a heartfelt rendition of Nat King Cole’s ‘When I Fall In Love.’ Despite the constraints of time, which afforded no opportunity for rehearsal, he courageously sang acapella. While the key may have faltered slightly, the depth of his love resonated through each note, enveloping the room in emotion. As tears welled in our eyes, I found myself rushing into his arms, overwhelmed by an immense wave of love and gratitude, cherishing this beautiful moment forever.
