An Ethereal Southern Garden Wedding Beneath Charleston’s Ancient Oaks

blues, cream, lavender
This wedding at The Island House in Charleston embraces classic Southern elegance with a soft, romantic vibe. The ceremony space, situated under an ancient oak tree draped in Spanish moss, sets an ethereal tone. Complemented by glowing candlelight just steps away in the reception space, with blue accents that harmonize with Charleston’s dusky evening hues. Soulful ambience.

The couple opted for Southern fare for their Lowcountry wedding, starting with deviled eggs and mini tomato pies during cocktail hour. The signature Palomas and Cucumber Mules flowed continuously throughout the evening.
Sweet Leaf Floral and Perfect Peony Events did an incredible job of bringing Paige’s vision to life. Paige opted for dusty blues with soft lavender and creams, incorporating a tropical vibe with greenery mixed in as an ode to the palms of Charleston.
The cake, crafted by The Cake Stand, was a perfect three-tiered red velvet cake, embellished with dots in sleek white icing.
The focal point over the dance floor consisted of hundreds of fresh stems and sparkly disco balls, which highlighted the live band center stage.
