A Whimsical Waterfront Wedding Awash in Bright Color, Rattan Accents and Sunny Style

The wedding was a chic, colorful affair, with a palette that encompassed pink, yellow, orange, blue, purple, and green. Sunshine yellow was also prominent, not only from the sunny Florida weather, but all of the beautiful bridesmaid gowns.

The vibe for the wedding day was a whimsical yet sophisticated black-tie fete. A nod to the coastal waterfront was also present, with subtle touches of rattan from entrance lanterns and rattan chargers with sea blue napkins. An assortment of colors from the invitation suite, to the crest, the florals, and the table cape design lent itself well to capturing this beautiful aesthetic. A gorgeous custom seating wall and multiple personalized bars provided another high-touch element throughout the event.

Casey chose an elegant strapless A-line Monique Lhuillier wedding gown. The beautiful dress with delicate lace embodied the sophisticated and timeless look she was seeking. She paired the gown with a statement cathedral veil that blew effortlessly in the wind.

Casey’s bridesmaids all chose variations of butter yellow satin dresses. Every bridesmaid looked gorgeous in the cheery shade!

The groom and groomsmen sported classic black tuxedos.

Guests arrived at the ceremony and were greeted with sparkling rosé and sparkling water. After the ceremony, they enjoyed a raw bar and sushi display at cocktail hour. For the reception, the first course was a delectable Caesar salad, and dinner served a choice of proteins. Dessert was a Funfetti wedding cake.

A stunning arch was designed against the Palm Beach waterfront. Lush florals, spanning a vibrant palette, were placed down the aisle. In the reception ballroom, towering tall centerpieces created a wow moment. The band backdrop featured paneling with cascading greenery for a beautiful display.

A 4-tier buttercream cake featured a special VIP guest, their pup, poking its head out from the cake design! The flavor they chose was Funfetti.

A string quartet played beautiful music for guests to enjoy during the ceremony and cocktail hour.

The bride, Casey, is the granddaughter of Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, a Hall of Fame retired golfer. The ceremony took place at their private waterfront home in Palm Beach, and the reception was held at a private club.

The couple’s adorable golden retriever played an important role in the day as the Best Dog! He sported a darling tuxedo and was walked down the aisle during the ceremony. He also appeared in the invitation suite and on the bars’ decals (and the wedding cake!).

After the reception, guests were led to the after party by the band and were in awe as cold sparks went off as they arrived! It was quite the photo-opp moment!
