A Refined Garden Party Wedding With Modern Details at Hillcrest Country Club

Sam and Dan’s modern garden party wedding aesthetic was equally chic, on-trend, and oh-so-stunning.

What I expected to be a simple two-week trip home between jobs turned into the most unforgettable surprise. I thought Dan was across the country for work—he doesn’t live in L.A.—so when I set out for what I believed was just a casual tea outing with a friend at the Beverly Hills Hotel, I had no idea what was coming. As I turned the corner and saw him waiting for me, everything stopped. Overwhelmed with joy, I can hardly remember what he said—only that I was shaking with excitement. We celebrated with brunch at the Polo Lounge, followed by a surprise visit from both of our parents and my sister. The surprises didn’t stop there—we ended the day with an incredible engagement party at A.O.C. in West Hollywood, surrounded by our closest family and friends. It was a day filled with love, joy, and memories we’ll cherish forever.

Sam wore a stunning, strapless gown inspired by the lush white florals seen throughout her decor.

Sam’s girls brought a pop of color to the big day by wearing alternating shades of pink gowns.

For their al fresco bites, Sam and Dan’s menu included wagyu beef short ribs, ora king salmon, and zucchini roulade.

On the big day itself, celebrations kicked off with an al fresco ceremony under a chuppah bursting with creamy eggshell-hued blooms. Afterwards, guests gathered for a reception featuring timeless details upgraded with sophisticated touches, like a textured fine art cake and deckled-edge paper goods.
