A Refined Blend of Pinks, Sage, and Blue Amid the Alpine Elegance of Arrabelle at Vail Square

Sage, Shades of Pink, and a touch of blue.

I love the color combination of pinks and sage green and added touches of blue for pops of color. I wanted to use a lot of color in my wedding but didn’t want to take away from the landscaping that surrounded our ceremony and reception.

Ryan surprised Brenna with a “staycation” in Grapevine, TX, a suburb of Dallas where they were living at the time, to celebrate her birthday with wine tastings and time with friends. On the day he proposed, Ryan had “planned” a wine tasting with Brenna at a winery near where they were staying. They showed up a tad early because Brenna was eager to see her friends and Ryan was not entirely sure where the photographer was waiting to capture the big surprise. Luckily, there were many people there taking pictures and enjoying the winery, so Ryan could easily spot where they needed to be for the surprise. Ryan got down on one knee and finally popped the question. Afterward, there was a party to celebrate the newly engaged couple with their closest family and friends.

For my dress, I wanted something that felt classic and timeless! I went to Neiman Marcus bridal and fell in love with this Lela Rose gown. The classic ballgown shape and the sweetheart neckline were exactly what I wanted.

I didn’t want the overall palette of our wedding to be primarily blue – we had touches here and there, and then when we found these Amsale bridesmaid dresses, it felt like the perfect way to incorporate the blue in another subtle way.

We did family drinks for our signature cocktails. Brenna’s family cocktail is known by many who attend her parents’ tailgate for Dallas Cowboy football games, and Ryan’s family cocktail is a family favorite!

For the florals, we wanted to make sure they felt very garden-like. We focused on the pink and green part of our color palette here and sprinkled in the blues with our chargers and linens. The whole design truly felt like a garden party in the Colorado Mountains!

The wedding cake was a perfect and simplistic cake from Katy Pierson. We wanted to lean into the playful color palette and butterfly motif, and the delicate butterflies intertwined with the florals accomplished just that!

The invitation suite is always the way to set the tone for a wedding! Line Avenue took our color palette and made the most delicate and perfect suite that reflected our wedding to a tee!
