A Chic Black and White Romance at the Shinola Hotel

Black, white, green, and gold

The wedding had a timeless, chic feel from the moment it started. The atrium-style venue flooded the space with natural light, creating the dreamiest atmosphere during the day and a perfect party space at night. I couldn’t get enough of the checkered black and white floors. They added the perfect modern touch! The bridesmaids stunned in elegant fitted black gowns, while the groomsmen looked sharp in classic tuxedos, perfectly complementing the black and white theme. Every detail came together beautifully, and throughout the day, the couple’s love was at the heart of it all.

The couple met in medical school and worked together during their internal medicine residency in Detroit. They got engaged in Las Vegas after a romantic dinner on a skyscraper, with stunning views of the desert and city.

The bride wore a Gabrielle Atelier lace gown with a fitted trumpet silhouette. Her Jimmy Choo heels featured pointed toes and jeweled ankle straps, adding the perfect touch of sparkle. She styled her hair in bouncy Hollywood curls, wearing it down for an effortlessly romantic look. A long veil with a flowing train completed her ensemble.

The bridesmaids looked stunning in classic fitted black dresses. Each wore a unique style, adding beautiful texture and variety to the day. Each bridesmaid’s bouquet featured a unique,e singular floral type to complement each bridesmaid and her dress!

Guests enjoyed delicious catering from Shinola Hotel.

The personal florals and the ceremony and reception arrangements were all white, with ranunculus, roses, and peonies, paired with greenery for texture and depth. Long, communal tables lined the reception room, each adorned with lush arrangements and delicate bud vases, creating a seamless flow of flowers. Chic tapered candles added a romantic touch throughout. Once it came time for dancing, the black and white dance floor served as a focal point, with a sleek modern bar just behind it.

The couple cut a vintage heart-shaped cake that read “Just Married.” Guests indulged in a dessert table filled with a variety of sweet treats.
