A Bold and Whimsical Celebration at The Gasparilla Inn & Club Under a Dreamy Sperry Tent

The wedding color palette was a stunning blend of rich and soft hues. The bridesmaids wore an elegant mix of jewel tones, adding depth and vibrancy to the scene, while the bride’s pastel-painted gown brought a dreamy, ethereal touch. The floral arrangements tied it all together with lush greenery and warm shades of peach, orange, and pink, creating a romantic and artistic contrast. The overall effect was both bold and whimsical, perfectly balancing drama and softness.

The wedding exuded an effortless blend of classic elegance and tropical charm, with a setting that felt both timeless and vibrant. Thoughtful details—like jewel-toned fashion, lush florals, glowing candlelight, and a dreamy Sperry tent—created an atmosphere that was both sophisticated and inviting.

The bride wore a stunning Monique Lhuillier A-line gown, adorned with delicate pastel floral prints that gave it a romantic, ethereal feel. Featuring a subtle slit for movement and a soft, flowing silhouette, the dress was both timeless and modern, perfectly suited to the island setting.

The bridesmaids wore a striking mix of jewel-toned gowns, each one unique yet complementary, creating a rich and vibrant contrast to the bride’s soft pastel gown. The deep, saturated colors added a bold and elegant touch to the overall aesthetic.

Guests enjoyed a carefully curated menu featuring fresh and elevated flavors, starting with a refreshing watermelon and feta salad and followed by a perfectly cooked filet mignon. Signature cocktails, including the island-inspired “Pink Elephant,” espresso martinis, and Old Fashioneds, added a personalized and festive touch to the evening.

The floral arrangements featured lush greenery and warm shades of peach, pink, and orange, creating a romantic and tropical aesthetic. Twinkle lights and candles illuminated the Sperry tent reception, casting a soft glow over the vintage-inspired details and elegant tablescapes.

The wedding cake had a vintage, romantic feel, adorned with cascading flowers that echoed the bride’s gown and floral arrangements. Its intricate design and delicate details made it a true statement piece, blending timeless beauty with personal charm.

This wedding was supposed to be inOctober, but the venue was damaged by the hurricanes that came through Florida. We all came together to celebrate on a Monday in January, and it was the best Monday any of us had ever had!
